Jackie Robinson There are many reasons why Jackie Robinson is remembered in black history month. He was the first African American baseball player he fought threw racial slurs. He also was hit by pitches. Many of his white teammates made fun of him. He is remembered on black history month because he gave other African Americans the courage to play.

Martin Luther king Jr. There are a lot of reasons why Martin Luther King Jr. is remembered on black history month. He gave over 2,500 speeches at The Mall of Washington D.C. He was the Leader of the civil Rights Movement. While giving his speeches he traveled over 6,000,000 miles. Martin was arrested over 3 times for trying to help other African Americans. Martin gave speeches for over 11 years until death. He is remembered for his great courage and bravery to help African Americans.

There are many reasons why the Little Rock Nine is remembered in black history month. These remarkable young African American students fought segregation in the deep south and won.The Little rock Nine was determined to get the same education has white children. Every morning on the way to school Angry white people would taunt the Little Rock Nine. They even received death threats. But they would not give up all nine of them went on to graduate High school. The nine black teenagers fought the racist system and won. The little rock nine

Barack Obama There are a lot of reasons why Barack Obama is remembered on black history month. He was the first African American to be elected to be president. Barack Obama donated over 240,000 to charities last year. He Also donated a lot of money to education. He influenced everybody if you really want something you can achieve it.

Fredrick Douglass There are many reasons why we remember Fredrick Douglass in black history month. He was a slave but later escaped. He helped other slaves escape to. In the Civil War he helped two regiments of Massachusetts African Americans and urged other blacks to join the Union Ranks. During reconstruction he still continued to urge civil rights for African Americans.

My favorite person to research from my power point is Jackie Robinson because he helped give African Americans courage and I admire his bravery and courage.
