Routine
Mostly handled by Contact Center staff unless no appointment slots can be found (usually for Plastic / CTVS cases)
Direct Access (NHG) & Fast Track (SingHealth)
Appointments that are deemed more urgent
Doctor to screen for TCU duration
Appointment to be given within TCU duration stated
No further action required after giving appointment in system
UNLESS appointment given is in short notice

3 types of referrals for all disciplines (CVM, CTVS, Plastic)
Routine / Early / Urgent – HOT
Routine ED Referrals handled by ED staff
Early or Urgent – HOT referrals to be screened by Dr before making appt
Urgent – HOT appt to be faxed back to ED and recorded in file
*Check for existing appt or open case before sending it for screening*
