12 Coordination of Indiana GIS through dissemination of data and data products, education and outreach, adoption of standards, and building partnerships IndianaMap Projects The IndianaMap is a Portfolio of Projects

13 Coordination of Indiana GIS through dissemination of data and data products, education and outreach, adoption of standards, and building partnerships IndianaMap Framework Data Framework data make up the common “base map” Framework data are those needed by the most people, most often, to support the most applications (defined by Indiana Code 4-23-7.3-3 ) BASE MAP Elevation Boundaries Water PLSS Streets & Addresses Parcels & Ownership Orthophotography Geodetic Control

14 Coordination of Indiana GIS through dissemination of data and data products, education and outreach, adoption of standards, and building partnerships With a seamless, accurate base map the layers will overlay correctly Without a seamless, accurate base map the layers will not overlay correctly IndianaMap Framework Data
