General characters: The sexual reproduction produce basidiospores. No flagellate cells are present. Dikaryotic phase long dikaryotic mycelium. (may have clamp connection). Presence of dolipore septum (septated mycelium).

Heterothalic(have two diffrenet mating types -.+). Sexual reproduction takes place by spermatization between spermatia and receptive hypae. Life cycle is very complex.
