2 Red, Red Rose O, my Love's like a red, red rose, That's newly sprung in June. O, my Love's like a melodies That's sweetly played in tune. As fair as thou, my bonnie lass, So deep in love am I; And I will love thee still, my dear, Till a' the seas gang dry.

3 BUBBLES Bubbles Some bubbles rise up to the sky Some bubbles don’t I don’t know why Easily popped by just one touch Easily missed by way to much

4 SWIMMERS’ STROKES silently slipstreaming, Simon’s swim huffing heavily Harry hurries him Pete plods, pants, pushes, paddles past Luke languidly lashes, lumbering last Alliteration Silently slipstreaming, Simon’s swim

5 SNOW Snow speaks to the people its falling above in the glooming sunlight. Its white sparkling voice echoes as it falls through the air. Personification Snow speaks to people.

6 Where the Sidewalk Ends There is a place where the sidewalk ends And before the street begins, And there the grass grows soft and white, And there the sun burns crimson bright, And there the moon-bird rests from his flight To cool in the peppermint wind. Hyperbole To cool in the peppermint wind

7 Repetition I can say so much How I feel, what I do But my feeling aren’t the same When I am without you I see all my friends Up and Go, happy, restless I try paint a picture of love And it seems impossible to Sketch this Repetition About how he feels
