SPRING 2016 PILOT Phase I vendor: Examity Auto authentication not tied to exams Faculty volunteers 200 students across 10 online courses Students asked to authenticate twice Second random request to authenticate within 48 hours Instructor and student feedback survey

EXAMITY Accessed through Blackboard Registration required but no separate username and password Student communications via Examity emails Instructor and student dashboards Flag system to inform instructors 24/7 student support FERPA and ADA compliant Secure student data destroyed when contract expires

AUTHENTICATION PROCESS Students need webcam and photo ID One-time profile setup Verify identity using webcam and photo ID Answer pre-set security questions Type unique biometric signature Authentication on same device used to register
