WHAT IS THE BEST SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM FOR PROMOTING H.I.M.

OUR PRIMARY RESEARCH We decided to contact small media companies in south east Kent. We did this through twitter. We contacted 19 companies and received replies from 3.

OUR PRIMARY RESEARCH After going directly to the companies we went to the general public. In a survey of 4 people 100% of people said that Facebook is their most favoured social media.

OUR SECONDARY RESEARCH These graphs show the activity trends throughout the lifespan of the social media. It clearly shows the ups and downs of activity. Instagram Facebook Google Plus Twitter

OUR SECONDARY RESEARCH This data shows the proportions of male and female users of five social media. It also show the percentage of people form different age groups who use the social media.

SOCIAL MEDIA WE WILL USE The social media that we have chosen to use is twitter and Facebook, we have already created a account on twitter representing our company. We asked other media companies around Kent and they said that twitter helped them connect to other media companies and clients easier than other social medias. Both Facebook and Twitter have their pros and cons, with Facebook beating Twitter in terms of text limitations, while Twitter beats Facebook with the accessibility of the posts.

JOB ROLES. The job roles involved with the use of social media for businesses would be jobs such as Marketing, Advertising, Community Manager and the Social Media team. These jobs would have their own team, and they will all work closely with one another, and use several different social media websites to get as much coverage, keep up to date and potential business promotions as possible.
