34 VISION 2015 To make available land with infrastructure facilities at reasonable rate for starting MSME units. To make available skilled man power and facilities for skill development. To promote value addition in agricultural produce To promote entrepreneurial ventures for value added products from coconut, cashew, banana, pepper, jack fruit, Mango, Tapioca etc. To promote export for the products in Food and Agro processing and also in Textile filed.

35 ACTION PLAN Identifying about 100 acres of suitable land for setting up of Industrial Development Plot/area/Industrial Estate. Build up of groups of Skilled people in the areas of Plumbing, Electrical, Welding, Electronics, computer Hardware, Designing, Ornamental and modern stitching etc. with high professional standard. Encourage farmers to Engage in processing and value addition of crops. Set up modern marketing infrastructure covering storage places for agricultural crops to make them available throughout a year. Set up modern slaughter houses and meat processing units Create awareness and conduct Technology clinics on converting the agricultural /Vegetable /Horticultural crops to value added products. Conduct Face to Face interaction with Bank Managers to have Effective Co-ordination and flow of fund to MME sector. Set up Common Facility Centre with modern equipments and machinery for the skilled artisans in Bell Metal Industry in Patoli in Payyannur. Set up 1200 Nos. of MSME units with lakh of Investment and giving employment to 6570 persons.
