Bivariate Data Parallel Boxplots

Parallel boxplots are made up of several regular boxplots. They are drawn up on a common scale so they can be easily compared. Parallel boxplots are used to display a categorical and a numerical variable. The categorical variable is NOT limited to 2 categories.
