7  What characters are saying in the script

8  Describe in parentheses to illustrate the point / emotions of the character

9  Event that takes place entirely in one location or time

10  Voice Over = generally used for narration  A character’s inner thoughts

11  Exterior = a scene that is taking place outside

12  Interior = a scene that is taking place inside

14  Make sure you title your project at the top and credit the writer (you)!  Example = THE THREE LITTLE PIGS BY MRS. HAHN

15  Where is the scene starting?  Example = INT. MRS. HAHN’S HOUSE. DAYTIME.

16  Title and writer’s name  Establishing shot (where is this scene taking place and camera angle)  Setting (location information)  Camera shot

17  Character Development (who? What do they look like? Characteristics?)  Dialogue (what is the character saying?)  Parentheticals (emotions, if any)
