5. The Regulatory Body CNCAN is a legal entity and institution of national interest funded entirely from its own income being in coordination with the General Secretary of the Government Presently, CNCAN should decrease the staff expenses with 20 %

Regulatory Body Staffing and Training Numbers of Staff : 136 CNCAN established a training programme and an in-house training programme across all Divisions Insufficient staffing in different Areas considering the regulated installations Insufficient skills on radiation protection in new practices: cyclotron & CT PET in nuclear medicine practice, permanent implant in brachytherapy, screening in mammography and so on.
