1. Our town, Szarvas is on the bank of the backwater of the River Körös.

3. Szarvas is situated in the south-eastern part of Hungary, on The Great Hungarian Plain. Our town isn’t very big, it has about 19000 inhabitants. We have a beautiful riverbank, a nice botanical garden and a lot of fields around the town.

5. We don’t have a pet as a mascot in school, but most of the pupils have animals and pets at home, because we live in a small town. Most of us have dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea-pigs or fish, but some children have pigs, chickens or horses.
