30.2 b a c kn e x t h o m e Fair Labor Standards Act The Fair Labor Standards Act excludes: Employees working for firms doing intrastate business. Employees working in a business excluded from the Act, such as agriculture. Employees in positions such as executives, administrators, and outside salespeople. That part of the transportation industry over which the Interstate Commerce Commission has control.
