The Industrial Revolution 4 1760s-1850s Britain – the first industrial power in the world – „the workshop of the world“ GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS 1) The Napoleonic Wars (1803-1815) -1805 – The Battle of Trafalgar - Admiral Nelson (was killed ) the British fleet defeated the French and Spanish fleet - Cape Trafalgar (south –wet Spain)
