MOD Squad PDSA Survey 2013 “STUDY” Initial Staff Survey conducted in 2010 as part of the PDSA “PLAN” phase to establish baseline data. MS5 collected survey information as part of the Phase 3 evaluations in 2012, using one survey response in the STUDY phase (slide 7) A follow-up survey was conducted in 2013 as part of the PDSA “STUDY” phase to establish AIM measurements to study process improvement.

MOD Squad PDSA Staff Survey 2010 vs 2013: I have a clear understanding of the commitment of time and duties expected of MOD Squad members. 2010 2013 AIM Statement Measure: Increase staff’s understanding of the commitment of time and duties expected of MOD Squad members by 20% (60% to 80% that agree or strongly agree). RESULTS: Staff increased their understanding of commitment of time and duties of MOD Squad members by 9%.

MOD Squad PDSA Staff Survey 2010 vs 2013: I have been able to give input into the strategic plan. 2010 2013 AIM Statement Measure: Provide opportunities for staff to give input into the strategic plan, increasing their survey responses by 17% (from 53% to 70% that agree or strongly agree). RESULTS: More staff felt they had an opportunity to give input into the strategic plan. Exceeding the AIM measurement increasing their responses by 26%.

MOD Squad PDSA Staff Survey 2010 vs 2013: I understand how the community- based strategic planning process (e.g. MAPP) fits in with the MOD... 2010 2013 AIM Statement Measure: Increase staff’s understanding of how the community-based strategic planning process fits in with the MOD Squad process by 14% (from 46% to 60% that agree and strongly agree). RESULTS: Staff have a better understanding of how the community-based strategic planning fits in with MOD Squad. Exceeding the AIM measurement increasing their responses by 19%.

MOD Squad PDSA Staff Survey 2010 vs 2013: MOD Squad information is shared as a regular part of my Division's monthly staff meetings. 2010 2013 AIM Statement Measure: Increase the sharing of MOD Squd information at divisional monthly staff meetings, increasing their survey responses by 14% (from 66% to 80%). RESULTS: MOD Squad information sharing has increased in Divisional monthly staff meetings. Exceeding the AIM measurement increasing their responses by 21%.

MOD Squad PDSA Staff Survey 2010 vs 2012: I understand how I fit in with the MOD Squad strategic planning process. 2012 Question: I feel more connected to the department’s strategic planning process. 2010 2012 AIM Statement Measure: Increase staff’s understanding of how they fit in with the MOD Squad strategic planning process by 17% (from 53% to 70% that agree and strongly agree). RESULTS: Staff have a better understanding of how they fit into the strategic planning process. Exceeding the AIM measurement increasing their responses by 47%.
