9. Screen Design Consistent fonts, colors, background Summarize - no sentences – 7x7 rule 7 lines down (including title) 7 words across – Two extra facts for each bullet

10. Font Clear and easy to read – Comic Sans, not Rage Italic – Do not use ALL CAPS – No underline or italics Use bold or color to emphasize Size 24 or larger

13. Begin a PowerPoint Click on PowerPoint icon in Novell Box Select “Create a blank presentation” Chose a layout You can type or insert pictures in the boxes Follow usual Microsoft procedures – Colors – Fonts – Pictures

14. Insert a New Slide Click on Insert on top of screen Click on”New Slide”

15. Background Click on Format on the top of the screen Click on “Apply Design Template” Choose the background you want. Click on “Apply to all”
