3. As research progresses get feedback from: subjects, sponsoring agencies, collaborators etc. At each step – review goals and objectives During research remain objective – hold value considerations in abeyance (could distort our research)

4. Critical Sections of Research Report 1. Literature Review (See Appendix A in text) This is the foundation of the report. (Expanded from proposal – is comprehensive) 2. Clear problem statement 3. Methodological research plan. 4. Budget 5. Ethics statement (Discuss what was done to maintain ethical standards) 6. Statement of limitations (were there factors that limited what you could do in certain areas) 7. Findings Section (results are discussed and interpreted)

5. 8. Conclusions section – (summarizes findings and draws implications for future research) 9. Bibliography 10. Appendices 11. Survey or test instruments

6. Writing Research Outline the report first –Write a first draft and then outline again and compare, do another draft Leave enough time to revise several times Be Honest Finally, outline it again and see if the paper you wrote fits the outline you planned Acknowledge sponsors and staff Executive Summary or Abstract should be written after the Report is finished. (Similar to Proposal Summary section in the Research Proposal) Submit and Report findings to large audiences (publish)
