The ERCOT Board has approved guidelines for members of ERCOT Committees, Subcommittees and Working Groups to be reviewed and followed by each Market Participant attending ERCOT meetings. Lead from the front Texas Nodal http://nodal.ercot.com 9 Appendix - Outage Scheduler 4.9.2 Testing: Basic Communications Test Prior to this test QSEs and TSPs using External Web Services will need to have their network and security teams make the following changes: –QSE’s / TSP’s Outage Scheduler system must be able to access: https://nodaleds.ercot.com:80/2007-08/Nodal/eEDS/EWS/ NOTE: this SSL URL is on port 80 https://nodaleds.ercot.com:80/2007-08/Nodal/eEDS/EWS/ –Market Participants must be able to receive / send transactions to/from the following IP ranges: 66.128.16.0/24 66.128.17.0/24 66.128.18.0/24

Execution –MP’s that have met readiness metric MP20 by 6/13/08 are GREEN –MP’s that have attempted readiness metric MP20 by 6/13/08 are AMBER –MP’s that have not yet attempted readiness metric MP20 by 6/13/08 are RED ERCOT is calling all MPs that have not signed up for EDS4.9.2

If you will not be able to cut over your systems to the private WAN on Monday, please notify eds4@ercot.com with expected dateeds4@ercot.com Objectives of Testing: - Evaluate whether large reports and MIS will also be made available over the WAN - Goal is to validate our sample capacity tests with the base transactions If issues are found, ERCOT will roll back the DNS entry and notify the market via a market notice Reminder: Notifications will remain over the internet only until supporting infrastructure is in place. ETA - TBD
