2. Photosynthesis Nearly all energy that fuels life comes from the SUN! The food that plants make supplies them with energy. It also supplies energy to anything that eats plants.

3. Photosynthesis is the process where plants capture the energy from the sun and change it into food. Chlorophyll are pigments found in plants that absorb light energy. They are found in Chloroplasts!

4. The Process! Energy from light changes CO 2 and H 2 O into Glucose and Oxygen.

5. The chemical formula for glucose is C 6 H 12 0 6 Glucose is a simple sugar. When it is stored in organisms it is a carbohydrate.

8. This is where we get our energy to run, skip, play, cry, laugh, text, etc. Cellular Respiration is a Chemical Process where glucose (food) is broken down (apart) and Carbon Dioxide, Water, and Energy are released.
