9 Team Progress Briefly share… What’s happened since our last meeting in January? Does your team meet regularly? Status of: ◦ Plan on a Page, Mission, SMART goals, Data Display, Scorecard, Action Plans, etc. Communication with the all employees Key next steps for your team?

10 Stakeholder Satisfaction Survey All support staff employees will participate in a satisfaction survey in May. Survey includes key questions that are asked of the teachers Data will be returned to Department Leadership Teams for review Satisfaction survey data can be used by teams to drive improvements and monitor progress!

12 Survey Feedback Comments? Questions? Suggestions? In your department, what is the best way to communicate and distribute the survey?

13 Planning for Improvement; Team Self Assessment Suggested process for completing the self- assessment: 1. Each person should complete the assessment independently 2. When everyone is finished, go through each question and have each person share their rating and why 3. Come up with an “average” rating as a team that indicates a “consensus rating” 4. What can be improved based on the data?

15 N EXT S TEPS … WhatWhoDue/When Finalize the department data display, including “in process” measures to include in the department scorecard (determine key measures). DLTBy August 1, 2011 Set and communicate direction with the rest of the department. Share the finalized plan on a page and the data center/scorecard with all department employees. Give all employees a copy of your plan on a page. DLTBy August 1, 2011 Identify next steps for your Department Leadership Team (use the results of the “team self assessment” to determine your teams next steps, next year. Consider the following:  Set leadership team meetings next year for your team to meet outside of the District scheduled meetings  What key areas will your team focus on next year? Create an action plan that identifies next steps for your team.  What data will the team collect throughout the year? When will you review it?  What initiatives/projects will help improve your teams SMART goal progress?  How can the 5S program or the 8 elements of waste direct improvements in your department?  How will you involve all employees in the mission and goals of your department?
