2 Question 1 Landmarks Landmarks are prominent features in the environment. Artists, designers and craftspeople sometimes make work which is positioned as a landmark. The ancient Nazca Lines in Peru are scraped into the landscape. Antony Gormly has made sculptures such as the “Angel of the North” and “Another place”. Jenny Holzer projects statements onto the surfaces of important buildings creating temporary landmark installations. Graphic design company Soulful Creative make prominent urban graffiti style billboard designs which become local landmarks. Research appropriate sources and create your own response to Landmarks
