Discussion Read the sentences below and try to figure out what the red words mean. 1. Je m’appelle Anne. J’ai 15 ans. 2. J’ai une soeur. Elle s’appelle Marie. Elle a 18 ans. 3. J’ai un frère. Il s’appelle Luc. Il a 14 ans. 4. Ma soeur et moi sommes petites et blondes. Nous sommes des amis. 5. Mon frère et mon père sont grands. Ils sont forts, aussi.

Sujets et Verbes – Subjects and Verbs The subject of the sentence does the action. The verb is the action. Subject pronouns replace subjects that have been mentioned already. SujetVerbe Le professeurparle. The teachertalks. Pronom SujetVerbe Ilparle. Hetalks.
