2.  Ceres is indeed a Plutoid.  Ceres is the largest object in the Asteroid Belt.  It is 5AU away from the sun. That’s 414,703,838 km!

5. Although Ceres is the biggest object in the Asteroid Belt, it definitely isn ’ t the biggest planet. ( It ’ s a plutoid, after all.) Ceres ’ s diameter is 950 km. That is 1/10,000 the size of Earth. That means that 10,000 little Ceres ’ s would fit in Earth !

7.  Ceres is the smallest known dwarf planet.  Ceres is the ONLY planet in the inner solar system.  Ceres is named after the goddess of Harvest.
