Open Browser and go to: Tinyurl.com/aaee2015 Complete the brief form and submit.

NOTE: This session of AAEE 2015 was a “Hands-On, Make & Take” session. Therefore, a PowerPoint presentation was not used. However, the following points were followed to help participants create their own Google Form and link it to an auto email.

#1 - Set up a Google account #2 - Once in Google click on small grid and Sheets #3 - Select choice to start a new spreadsheet #4 - Under Tools menu select Create a Form with a question asking for an email address. #5 - Back in your spreadsheet, under the Add-Ons menu, select Get Add-Ons #6 - Search for formMule and click +Free #7 - Download and install formMule

#8 - You might need to exit and re-enter your spreadsheet. Under Add-ons select formMule > Launch #9 - In Select Sheet select Form Responses 1 #10 - Turn on trigger to send on form submit #11 - Leave number of emails at 1 and #12 - Edit the body of the email adding merge tags where desired. #13 - Click in the To: window and click merge tag for email address. #14 - Test to see if your form and email are working by going to Form > Go To Live Form, complete and submit.

#15 - Check your email for new message! #16 - Visit TinyURL.com and create a shorter version of your live forms URL. #17 - Share the tiny URL through e-mail or an iPad shortcut for easier use.
