Gravitational energy is the energy associated with the gravitational field. In these pictures, you can see people jumping up and down. I think that represents gravitational energy because sooner or later, gravity is going to pull them down to the ground.
4
Chemical energy is that part of the energy in a substance that can be released by a chemical reaction. In this picture you see fruits. I think it represents chemical energy because it stores it in itself.
5
Solar energy is radiant light and heat we get from the sun. In this picture I put the sun and solar panels. I know the sun represents solar energy because sol means sun. And solar panels get energy from the sun. ENTER THE FUTURE ENTER THE FUTURE
6
Heat energy is a form of energy which transfers among particles in a substance by means of kinetic energy of those particles. In this picture, I chose a fire. It represents heat energy because if you get close to it, you can feel the heat energy radiating off of it.
7
The kinetic energy of an object is the extra energy which it possesses due to its motion. In these pictures it shows a dog and a Frisbee. Both are my examples. The dog has kinetic energy because it’s running. The Frisbee has kinetic energy because it is flying through the air.
8
Renewable energy is energy generated from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat. In this picture I chose water. I know water is renewable because it goes through a cycle, renewing itself, and then coming back.
9
Something nonrenewable is something you can’t retrieve back. In this picture I chose a oil can. Oil is nonrenewable because once it’s used up, we can never get it back.
