Reflection: State-of-the-World Our governments have failed us! – “Every country has the government it deserves” Our socio-economic systems have failed us – We are consumers, customers, competitors, rats! Our technological systems have failed us! – We are gratified by “gadgets” and “likes”! Our religions have failed us! – Are we abusing our religions as “license to sin?” Our role models have failed us! 6

Change yourself, the world changes What if everyone did this? 8 Where there is righteousness in the heart… …there is beauty in the character. When there is beauty in the character… … there is harmony in the home. When there is harmony in the home…...there is an order in the nation. When there is order in the nation… …there is peace in the world. Where there is righteousness in the heart… …there is beauty in the character. I do it NOT for anyone else – Parents, Boss, Friends, Society, Law & Justice I do it NOT for my self… – vanity, guilt, desires, tendencies,… DON’T do it… – Because someone is watching – Because no-one is watching I do it for my Self – My higher purpose (end) and conscience (means) 18
