Liberia National Youth Volunteer Service Programme (NYVS) The objectives: capacity building for youth and local communities; contribute to reconstruction of Liberia, and acquire skills employability skills; Sector: public education and health services at the community level; Results: over 323 placement in 20 communities, To date 30%percent secured full time employment.

Lesotho National Graduate Volunteer Scheme, 2009 Objective: Gain employability skills through volunteering opportunities Results: More than 2000 graduates registered 500 have enrolled, 230 have secured employment. Funded by the Government and is now fully absorbed as a Government programme;

Burkina Faso National Volunteer Programme: Since 2006 A national programme managed by an independent entity Part of the national youth development strategy of the country. To date-More than 3000 young people have gone through the programme;

ECOWAS Volunteer Programme: Since 2009 Launched in March,2010 in Monrovia- Liberia; AfDB 20 Volunteers deployed in Liberia Plan deployment of 80 volunteers in Guinea and Sierra Leone.
