Box 6334 Macon, Georgia 31208 478-744-0850 lautzenheiserj@bibblib.org lautzenheiserj@bibblib.org Libraries are the safety net saving large portions of our society from being left behind in this technological shift Washington Memorial Library in Macon serves as the Headquarters for Middle Georgia Regional Library Each month 20 – 30 computer classes are offered at their computer training lab supported by grant from the Knight Foundation

New Opportunities at the Libraries Expand some of these classes to our MGRL Lanford location which has a large computer bank Expand our technology offerings to other topics for adults and young adult interests, including Intro to Coding using Hour of Code or something similar, Video editing, or E-Government The scheduling, topics, and quantity of classes are flexible to the needs of the student. All efforts would be supported and reviewed by the Head of Public Services. Training class plans or outlines are to be developed.

Summer Camp Development Sponsor: Dr. Allen Possible camp topics: Minecraft and circuits, Mindstorm EV3 creative ideas, Kerbal Space Program, Little Bits Circuits, Java for kids.
