4.  Packet capture drivers –Libpcap is available for Linux  Libpcap is usually pre-installed on a Linux system –Can be installed from the RPM (RedHat Packet Manager) –Can be installed from the downloaded zip or tar file Packets and Protocols Chapter 3

5.  WinPcap is used for Windows installations –Download the package –Click install (duh!)  Installation of the program can be saved to a logfile for troubleshooting Packets and Protocols Chapter 3
