WWI It was a lot of reasons. It involved a lot of different European countries. American didn’t join until 1917.. It started in 1914 and ended in 1918!

Drama!! 1) With 1 partner. For EACH country, make a list of the demands for each European country. 2) List which side each is on. Triple Entente or Triple Alliance. 3) Shade the map and complete the legend. Triple Alliance, Triple Entente, Neutral and Switched Sides.

Tales of Animals in War With a partner and VERY CAREFULLY, peruse through the newspaper with a partner! Choose 3 articles and answer the following questions for each! 1 ) What is the article about? 2) Describe 2 facts from the article. 3) Are animals used in war today? Give evidence from the paper to support your answer. 4) Write a short letter or diary entry from an animal of war’s perspective. What would being a war animal feel like? (Must be different than your partner) :)
