4 Kingsbury Middle School is a Title I School. Which means we receive federal funds to ensure that our school is ran appropriately. Title I is a part of the No child left Behind Act, which requires that schools provide high quality instruction in a positive and supportive learning environment. Title I Provides funds to supplement or support the regular academic program. After school tutoring Formative Assessments Resources to track academic data * All parents should have received a packet that includes KMS’s Title I Notification-Parents Right to Know- Migrant Education Program Occupational Survey, and Family Engagement Plan

6  AMO is defined as a school’s expected level of growth, which is assigned by the Department of Education, for a each school year.  We are happy to share that we are considered a level 5 school, because we achieved the expected level of growth in at least two academic areas. *We would like for all KMS students and parents to know that we are COMMITTED to ensuring that students are provided with the necessary support to CONTINUOUSLY make ACADEMIC GAINS.

13 Receive information on your child’s/children’s achievement level. Transfer to another school if a victim of a violent crime. Public school choice and supplemental services if child’s school is identified for school improvement. Right to be informed if your child is being taught by a teacher who is not highly qualified 20 days or more.
