TGDC Meeting, Jan 2011 Page 2 Background The National Defense Authorization Act of 2009 required the EAC to submit a report to Congress within 180 days after enactment if “… EAC has not established electronic absentee voting guidelines” The report outlines a deliberative and iterative approach to develop guidelines for electronic absentee voting systems This presentation provides a context for current and future TGDC UOCAVA activities with respect to roadmap found in the report
