2 Fall 2007 http://www.cis.ksu.edu 2 CIS 764 Database Systems Engineering Group project work: For Tuesday, Dec. 4: Selected projects for class presentation … likely 1 adventure, 2 photos; max. 15 minutes each; show few design documents and any demo (even demo’s may be better as screen snapshots); assessment … evaluation, estimate of effort. For Monday, Dec. 10 (or sooner): all project items are due (see next slide)

Post a final assessment statement: evaluation of design, scope of implementation, who did what, etc. 2. Post a link to source code and compiled object(s). 3. On your own homework page: report your contribution ( % of work or hours worked). 4. Post and/or print a single document of the project report: vision statement, design models, few screen snapshots (if any), final assessment statement (but not code). 5. Post zip files of the group homework site: Separate html, final document, and code. (Be sure links are relative, not absolute.) 6. Rejoice to be done. (“A merry heart is a good medicine.”)

Dec 5). Notes: i. Avoid: circular evals: A evals B and B evals A ii. Do not perform the steps of the tutorial; just read it and evaluate it.

Post the summary of your talk. 2. Vote (by email) for two talks of good merit: include brief comment of evaluation … ?? style, relation to 764, technical content, interest in topic, … Due: Wed. Dec 5, 5:00 PM 3. Construct a concept model of all the talks + 764_foundation. Use UML class model notation; review concept model slides. Email a jpg image (machine drawn or scanned). Due: Wed. Dec 5, 5:00 PM 764_foundation concepts ????
