4. Targets “I Can Statements” Evidence: How have I achieved this? Other things that I can do I can still remember how to play the recorder. I learnt how to play the recorder in year 3. Other things that I would like to do Learn a how to play a new instrument.

Could you add some captions to your pictures to explain what they mean and how they relate to your learning? Yes thank you. Do you have your LGFL username and password memorized? Yes I did.

11. My Gospel Experience 14 /1 /15 During my gospel lesson we sang loads of songs such as Jump, Let the sun shine, Hold on to your faith, Happy, Rather be and Colours. I was really looking forward to seeing the gospel teachers.Nadee taught us all the harmonies and Emllin played the keyboard for the backing track. My favourite song was Happy because it is a really jumpy. I didn’t really like Hold on to your faith because it is quite annoying.The harmonies were split up into two groups altos and sopranos.

15. Mr Salazar’s Comments 22 January This is excellent work. Thank you for responding to my marking. There is just one word on slide 5 that needs to be corrected Is it easy or difficult to sing the harmonies in the choir? It is kind off because we are singing so many different harmonies in colours.

17. Musical Form What are the different parts of music? (Add your own definitions) – Verse: Beginning part of song Is the verse only at the beginning? No the verse is the part of the song which usually changes I can sometimes start the song as well. – Chorus: Repeating part of the song – Bridge: A different part of the song it usually builds up. On the next slide, you will listen to the song “Happy” and add notes regarding the verse and chorus. The first two sections are completed for you.

19. Mr Salazar’s Comments 12 February Ecem, your definitions on slide 17 look good. Please answer the question that I left for you, and revise your definition of “Verse” Slide 18 is well done, but there are a couple of sections that are out of place. I have placed the correct order in Green. Please make the appropriate changes.

20. 25 th February 2015 In this lesson I put the song happy together on movie maker I imported all the pieces it was quite easy but when I listened to the song at first it didn’t sound right then I realised I put the chorus before verse 1.Once I had finished I saved it under the name off Ecem 25.02.15. If I was to listen to happy and not knowing the song was split up into pieces I wouldn’t of realised.

21. Mr Salazar’s Comments 27 February Ecem, your Happy video is perfect, and I really like your paragraph on slide 20. Thank you for explaining the process you went through to arrange the puzzle pieces correctly. Can you add the video to this powerpoint?

Gospel At The Royal Festival Hall Yesterday we went to the royal festival hall to sing the songs we had learnt at gospel we sang Colours,Jump,Hold on to your faith, Rather be, Happy, Love has no colour and Let the sunshine. The concert finished late but it was quite fun. We all were giving loads of energy and dancing to most of the songs the audience was also joining in which was fun.

32. 20 May 2015 Today I wrote down how many counts or beats a song had. I screen shot it and saved it in the photos. It was quite hard listening to the different counts but I got there in the end.

33. 24 th June We done a quiz today about dynamics. I also composed on soundation I don’t have a sample of my work.

34. Today I had a quiz on crescendo and diminuendo. Here Is a picture of it.

35. 8 th July Today I filled out a questionnaire about my music lessons and what I would like to learn next year on page 33 it will be there.

37. Moving On To Year 6 I enjoyed playing on charanga and composing on soundation. I am looking forward to playing the samba drums in year 6 and learn how to play in time with the music. I didn’t enjoy writing in my learning journey because it took long to load the powerpoint and I ran out of time because the laptops are SO SLOW.
