2 7 January 2015 LO: to practise logging into LGFL and sending a email, to login to soundation. Today I have logged into my email and I think this work is easy for me.

3 Targets “I Can Statements” Evidence: How have I achieved this? Other things that I can do I can play violin I can play the recorder I can play the drum I want to play the drum because when I played it in year 4 I loved playing it!! Other things that I would like to do I would like to play the piano I would like to play the piano because it look like a fun instrument I would like to play the flute I liked to play the flute et because my mom plays it and I like how the sound sounds like!

Listen with attention to detail and recall sounds with increasing aural memory I can sing and remember harmony parts confidently in a choir all the songs that i have to sing I practise at home to learn what the song is. I can remember all of the words to the songs Use and understand staff and other musical notations I understand and can compose using visual notation Appreciate and understand a wide range of live and recorded music drawn from different traditions and from great composers and musicians I can describe the sounds in a composition for me it is easy to listen and guess what instrument it is. I can describe the form and structure of a composition

Play and perform in solo and ensemble contexts I can sing in the Gospel Choir confidently I can sing solos confidently Use voices and instruments with increasing accuracy, fluency, control, expression I can do actions in time with the songs that we sing I can sing sensitively, paying attention to volume, and the style of music I can tell whether my voice is a “Soprano” or “Alto I can tell it because sopranos are the high harmony and alto is the lower one I am an alto!! Improvise and compose music for a arrange of purposes using the inter- related dimensions of music I can compose music using live instruments and technology I can improvise a drum kit accompaniment to a piece of hip hop music I can create sound effects to create a particular mood for a song

7 My experiences in Gospel 14 January 2015 LO: to write about my experiences in Gospel My experience in Gospel was very fun for me. One thing that I didn't like was singing by my own. I get shy when I sing by my own. The song that I liked most was jump because it has lots of rhythm in it.

8 Mr Salazar’s Comments This is great work. Thank you for sending me the email and creating your powerpoint. I really like the screenshot of your LGFL account. Could you write a short sentence on that slide to explain what the picture is? Were you able to log in to soundation? No I wasn’t able to go on my soundation account.

16 Mr Salazar’s Comments 12 February Sila, this is good work, but there are some things we need to fix Please see my note on slide 15 and try to do the definitions again On slide 16, I need you to add the rest of the instruments in the instrument column (more than just clapping) I have corrected a couple of sections in the left-hand column. Please correct the remaining boxes accordingly

17 Mr Salazar’s Comments 2 March Sila, you have done a good job with your Happy video. You nearly put the puzzle together correctly. Here is the order you created V1, C, V2, C, B, C, B2, C, C There is one chorus missing. Can you figure out where it is?

18 Gospel 2015! On Tuesday 3 rd march we went to the royal albert hall and the first thing we done was, we had to find our place to stand then we practised the songs

26 24 June 2015 Today in music I did a quiz about dynamics. Dynamics means the volume of music. Here is a picture of my quiz. I know that forte means loud and piano means quiet. I couldn’t go onto my dynamic quiz SORRY!!

27 1 July 2015 Today I done a assessment on my dynamics it was quite hard but I got through. I couldn’t go on my “Dynamic quiz” because the computer’s charge ran out. Mr Salazar got me a new dynamic assessment
