How To Find The Volume First find the area ( A ). A = r square Then multiply the area ( A ) times the height ( H ). V = ( A x H ) Finally you get the answer and that’s the volume ( how many cubic units fit inside the solid figure ).

V = ( A x H ) A = r square (cylinder) Or A= w x l (rectangular prism) Cylinder Example A = 6 square A = 6 x 6 A = 36 A = 36 x 3 A = 113.04 113.04 x 36 = 4,069.44 cubic units
