1 A hard life… Why are people more likely to pray to God and follow Him when life is hard, but not so much when everything is going well ?

2 How the Bible was Written To describe how the Old was written To explain why the Bible is written by many people To reflect on why people wrote down their experience of God How do you think the Bible was written? Explain your theory to your partner!

3 How was the OT was written? Match the pictures to the explanations ? Then explain in order how the Old Testament was written, using details from each of the boxes. First, the Jews experience suffering such as…This made them…. We are Jews and woe to us ! We are exiled! Or we are defeated in battle! Or we are poor and overworked ! Oh God, come to our help! We are sorry for having forgotten you ! God has sent us a prophet. The Holy Spirit inspires him to tell us: Do not fear! God is still with you! Turn away from your sins, and all will be well! Let us write down what has happened to us, so our children may know, that they too should trust in God and follow His ways.

I do things that are wrong more often, without feeling sorry for it.
