Good logo design
2
Memorability Unique and well designed logos will stay in the minds of your audience. Memorability means that when a viewer spots the logo, he or she can easily recall who owns the image.
3
Aesthetically appealing A good logo is appealing, stirring emotions to heighten the positive image of the company, business or person in question. Have you ever heard a song that you did not like? What happened after you saw the super cool video a week later? Did you change your mind about the song? An ugly logo will attract the wrong kind of attention.
4
Usability Graphics have to be versatile enough that they be used in different mediums. A good logo has to work well on the web, on letterhead, in print ads, and in video.
5
Colour Your colour choice has an impact on your audience because of the emotion associated with different colours. As well, too many colours make a logo difficult to reproduce.
6
Timelessness A good logo stands the test of time. Changing your logo when it is already memorable is bad for branding. You want a logo to work as long it can.
