The Ordinary world There home environment where friends and family are The Warriors is a local street game There turf is the area of Coney in the City of NYC

Call to Adventure An awakening of the self to a unknown place Sirus head of the Riffs (The biggest gang in the hood) is holding a meeting with every gang in the Bronx

Refusal of the Call The hero feels it is unnecessary to go and doesn’t want to give up what they currently have. Ajax wonders If it is even worth it, thinking no gang will be there and complains to the War Chief.

Supernatural Aid Provides the hero with something which helps them in there journey. There ability to fight Also there luck that gets them in and ends up getting out of this mess

Crossing the Threshold The hero’s encounter a unknown beyond this point they entrance in to the dark A member of The Rogues shoots Sirus in the middle of his speech then he sees a Warrior all alone and blames it on him, but the other Warriors don’t know this because they assume the Warrior was caught by the police

In the Belly of the whale Once they are in the belly there old world is officially gone and they are know in a world of darkness The Warriors are away from home and have to make it through many unwelcome neighborhoods. Also The Riffs broadcast over the radio they want The Warriors

The Road of Trials The hero experience ordeals the hero must conquer, Also the hero will most likely feel weak On there way to get back home they meet and defeat a lot of gangs such as when the first board the subway the Tumbrel A.C. They are chased by cops and split up by the cops due to a fire Four of the Warrior are on there own in the park Were they fight the Baseball furies

The Meeting with the Goddess The hero meets up with someone who is basically perfect. And the hero’s journey becomes more clear Doesn’t occur in the movie

The woman as temptress A person that tries to sabotage the heroes mission. The temptress is usually a evil force against the hero After the 4 warriors beat the baseball furies Ajax tries to rape a girl in the park but she’s undercover and cuffs him The 3 warriors that made it on the subway get off at a stop and meet The Lizzes who faked liking them and then tried to kill them (here they find out all the gangs are after them because The Riffs think they shot Sirus)

Atonement with the Father This stage shows that the hero has grew and can know take on adult responsibilities. None in the movie

Apotheosis The hero feels like he is in a god-like state and becomes free from all fear Apotheosis occurs when the warriors fight. Also when the warriors find out all the gang are after them because they were accused of shooting Sirus

The Ultimate Boon The hero gets its reward weather it be physically or mentally. After being split up the remaining 6 finally meet up at union square Also when the Riffs find out it wasn’t them and let the Warriors keep there turf

Refusal of the Return The hero wants to stay with his boon and wishes not to return Doesn’t occur in this movie

The Magic in flight With there reward they know must go home The are all united and go home but The Rogues are provoking them on The Warriors turf.

Crossing the Return Threshold The hero conquers the difficulty in the return because as the world changed so did the hero Once on the beach and in Coney The Warriors and Rogues plan to rumble but before swan is shot he throws a switchblade in The Rogues wrist.

Rescue from without The world may come to get the hero but the hero is drained form getting the boon and needs assistance The Riffs find out it wasn’t The Warriors making them off the hook Then the Riffs finish off The Rogues for shooting Sirus

Master of two World The boon the hero brought has know restored the world Also the hero gives up completely all attachment to his personal limitations, hopes and fears The Warriors gain respect but also a big reputation for there journey through New York City

Freedom to live The hero learns not to be afraid. He has learned to exist The warriors made it back to the turf and are now free to run it
