3 Course Introduction - 3 Training on Clinical Care of HIV/AIDS and Opportunistic Infections Course Learning Objectives Participants will be able to: Explain the natural history of HIV and AIDS, disease progression, immunodeficiency and opportunistic pathogens; Diagnose and provide treatment for oral and oesophageal conditions, sexually transmitted diseases, skin manifestations, respiratory conditions, and neurologic system conditions associated with HIV and AIDS and their treatment;

Discuss the approach to relief of symptoms and the stepped approach to pain control and the use of analgesics; Explain the meaning of a good death.
