Criteria Take implementation seriously.
5
1.Read the call. 2.Write a good abstract and make it clear what the project is within the first two to four pages. 3.Do not oversell. 4.Start planning and writing the proposal early. 5.Be crisp and clear. Show concretely what you will do in first year. Don't set unrealistic goals. 6.Do not use language that is too generic or only in "Commission speak". 7.Be consistent in the presentation of personnel and make sure it matches what is on the web. 8.Take risk seriously. 9.Centre your proposal on one topic or subtopic as stated in the Work Programme. 9.Tell the truth. 10.TRL scale – use it to illustrate ambition level but be careful that you are specific to topic and domain. 11.Don't mix up dissemination (one-way) and communication (two-way). 12.Ask yourself such questions as do I really need that partner? In that work package? 13.Engage all partners in proposal writing – not necessarily by contributing volumes of text, but at the very least to propose approaches, review etc. 14.Do not distribute the budget before you have a clear understanding of the tasks etc.
