Students will be able to recall each part of a five paragraph essay and describe what is contained in each part. Next slide

The intro to your paper is the first paragraph to your paper. This should introduce your paper, contain your thesis, and have a quick outline of what you will talk about. This is kind of like the top bun of a burger! Next slide

The Meat of your paper is what we call the “body” This part of your essay is three points you are discussing. There is one paragraph for each point. These three points are like the cheese and meat and other toppings on a cheeseburger. You can’t have a good burger without some great stuff inside! Just like you cant have a good paper without some great arguments. Next SlideSlide

The last part of your paper is the conclusion! Here you summarize your key points, pulling them all together and concluding your paper This is just like the bottom bun of your burger (it pulls everything together!) Next Slide
