Newton’s First Law of Motion Everybody preserves in its state of being at rest or of moving uniformly straight ahead, except in so far as it is compelled to change its state by forces impressed

Newton’s Second Law of Motion The acceleration of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force, in the same direction of the net force, and inversely proportional to the mass of the object
