5. Context of the project Canada is to a large extent an English speaking country The French speaking population is significant, particularly in Québec, which is about 85% French speaking French is the official language in Québec –Counts for about 23% of the Canada

6. Objectives of the project To have some important technical and non technical documentation available (mainly) in French To help retain and even increase the IEEE membership –With documentation and written material in the vernacular language
