Troy is preoccupied and domineering.

Helicopters are parked where they would have to land their rafts.
During a tense run, Troy and Freddy successfully guide the boats through the rapid.

4. Explain the conflict between Troy and Freddy as the group approaches Crystal.
They encounter heavy rain, and the rapid is ferocious.
Troy talks about how to run the rapid; Freddy disagrees and thinks they should carry the gear and walk around through the boulders.
Troy and Adam attempt to raft the rapid; the others follow Freddy.
