2 What is an alternative energy resource? 1.The alternative energy source is TIDAL POWER. 2.It does not contribute to the green house affect 3.It is rewnable which means it cant run out.

3 How does it work? Tidal power works by passing through a small dam. This then turns a giant Turbine which then generates electricity.

4 Advantages 1. Tidal power is free when you install it 2. Tidal power does not contribute to the Greenhouse affect. 3. Tidal Power is not displeasing to the eye. 4. It needs no fuel.

5 Disadvantages 1. Stops the migration of fish. 2. only works for 10 hours every day

6 Explanation of choice Tidal power is the perfect power for Ireland because Ireland is surrounded by water. Also It is very cheap and is to sustain it is the best for Northern Ireland.

7 Conclusion All over Ireland there are coasts which can all sustain tidal power. They are rewnable which means they can be used again so its very helpful to the environment.
