China’s Natural resources and economy By : Jack Horvath, Jake Bonios, and Katerina Corr.  Jack, and Jake are doing natural resources and Katerina is doing economy.

This group of three Jack, Jake, and Katerina are working on Chinese natural resources, and Chinese economy. You will find out about some natural resources and about the Chinese Economy. Chinese natural resources are important to the world. The Chinese built up their economy and became the biggest economy in the world. NATURAL RESOURCES AND THE ECONOMY

NATURAL RESOURCES China has fairly rich plant and animal resources. It is home to 32,800 higher plant varieties and 104,000 animal varieties. Among them are some that are quite rare, including the giant panda, the golden monkey, the Yangtze alligator, white flag dolphin, the metasequoia and the three dove- all are ‘’Living ‘’ found nowhere else. To protect wildlife and its ecological environment, china has built a fairly big number of nature reserves, including fourteen that are part of the united nations man and biosphere nature reserve system.

NATURAL RESOURCES ! Water is a big part in china’s natural resources. Thousands of rivers run through China, the third longest river in the world. The Huang river is sometimes called the yellow river because of its color. Yellow soil turns the river yellow. Other countries depend on china’s natural resources.

ECONOMY The Chinese economy is important to the world!!! In the first Chinese years they used to have a command-based economy. After a while people tried to tell the government that this was not fair, so they changed the economy to a market based economy which means that people can choose their own jobs and they make their own prices between the limits that the government makes. For example: Jenna has an apartment on 89 th street she will buy a piece of land in china for 456 dollars when she buys this farm land this land wont necessarily be hers because the government decided that it was not fair to the people that did not own any land so the government took all of the land of China. About 3 to 4 years ago America had the biggest economy in the world now since America stopped growing its economy China became the biggest economy in the world.
