Rock Posters (Day 1) You and your table group are going to create a poster on a section of ch 26 -Your section number is the number of your table. 1- Igneous rocks- what is it? p. 817-823 2- Igneous rocks- how are they made? p.817-823 3- Sedimentary rocks- what is it? p.824-829 4- Sedimentary rocks- how are they made? p.824-829 5- Metamorphic rocks- what is it? p. 830-835 6- Metamorphic rocks- how are they made? p. 830-835 7- Rock Cycle- what is it? p. 830-835 8- Conservation of Matter p. 830-835 - Read your section and take notes. Then with your group discuss your notes and decide what will go on your poster, be prepared at the beginning of class tomorrow to start posters

2. Rock Posters (Day 2) -Your group will make a poster containing ALL important information from your section. Others will be reading your poster and taking notes from it and grading it. -Your poster MUST: -Be legible (able to read) -Have at least one illustration -Have important info from section (address any bold words from your section) -Have color -Be organized and neat

3. Rock Posters (day 3) -Set up for c-notes on page 30 of your INB -Circulate the room and write ALL of the info From the posters on ALL 8 tables -Write the heading from the poster on the right hand side of your page and the info from the poster on the left hand side -Continue until you have been to ALL 8 tables
