Our planet Jupiter is very cold! In fact it is NEGATIVE 160 degrees (-234 F) Our planet has 67 moons! But only 18 moons are named! One year on Jupiter is 4,329 Earth days. One day on Jupiter is 9.92 Earth hours. WHAT IS JUPITER LIKE?
4
Our planet is the fifth planet from the sun. Jupiter is 778,330,000 km from the sun! Or it is 5.2 AU’s DISTANCE FROM THE SUN
5
Our planet is 142,984 km in diameter. If you take away the sun then Jupiter has half of the remaining mass! Jupiter would have an equal amount of mass as all the planets combined! SIZE OF JUPITER
6
If Jupiter was 80 times LARGER it would than be a star! (that means our diameter would be 11,438,720) Our magnetosphere extends more than 650 million km past Saturn's orbit! Jupiter also has 63 known satellites! INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT JUPITER!!
