www.actgov.org N&T SIG Acquisition Excellence Roundtables Purpose: The Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) of the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking information, comments, feedback and recommendations upon which to develop a follow-on program to the current Networx Program and other Network Services Offerings. The GSA’s vision for the follow-on program has been named “Network Services 2020”. The collective comments, feedback and recommendations from government agencies, industry and other stakeholders will be used to refine the current acquisition approach and will contribute to overall future program success. The N&T SIG Acquisition Excellence Roundtables provides a forum for capturing industry comments, feedback and recommendations on the strengths and weaknesses of the current Networx program and other Network Services offerings.

www.actgov.org N&T SIG Acquisition Excellence Roundtables Format: Five concurrent Roundtable sessions comprised of industry participants Government executives from the Department of Energy, Department of Justice, U.S Courts and others agencies will facilitate each Roundtable discussion. Each Roundtable was limited to a maximum of 10 participants Company representation was limited to 1 participant per Roundtable. Industry Lead(s) are designated in each group to capture comments, feedback and recommendations Registration will closed on Friday, April 22 at 5PM.

Don’t advance your opinion, but use your opinion to ask questions & to stimulate new ideas. Encourage the group to offer their comments, feedback and recommendations in the context of the Strengths and Weaknesses of the Networx Program or other Network Services Programs (e.g. Connections) Focus on capturing 3 – 5 top strengths, weaknesses and/or recommendations Review industry prepared draft document prior to GSA submission

www.actgov.org N&T SIG Acquisition Excellence Roundtables Industry Participant’s Role Offer your comments, feedback and recommendations in the context of the Strengths and Weaknesses of the Networx Program or other Network Services Programs (e.g. Connections) Come to consensus on 3 – 5 top strengths, weaknesses and/or recommendations Think broadly about the future vision of Network Services programs without constraints (political, bureaucratic, regulatory) Participate in the preparation of the draft White Paper deliverable

www.actgov.org N&T SIG Acquisition Excellence Roundtables Ground Rules Different opinions are welcome - Contrary views need to be encouraged to support robust decision-making Finish on time One conversation at a time - Show respect for others by listening to their point of view and refraining from side conversations. Respect different perspectives Challenge ideas, not individuals Limit side conversations Follow through on action plans – do what you say you’ll do

www.actgov.org N&T SIG Acquisition Excellence Roundtables White Paper Deliverable Industry participants are requested to submit their written comments in advance to the Roundtables All input is vendor-neutral; no industry logos, no attribution Industry Leads in each group will consolidate comments and produce draft document, capturing 3 – 5 top strengths, weaknesses and/or recommendations Facilitators, Project Lead N&T SIG Leadership, and IAC SIG Liaison will review final draft Industry Leads will be invited to participate in GSA Readout (TBA)
